My High School Reunion!

ALOHA ALL!
Just last week I attended Castle High School's class reunion and had so much fun! The evening went so quickly I hardly had the time to chat with everyone. I donated these favors using the school colors, maroon, gold and white, and the theme of the Las Vegas trip coming up in September! These measure only 3-1/2" wide, 2-1/2" tall, and 1-1/2" deep. I think they turned out well and really added to the festivities!

New set to be launched!

Aloha All!
While waiting for a number of other things to fall into place to launch a business, I created another set of rubberstamps. I'm including a picture of the grid I sent in to the rubber-pressings manufacturer to help me create them. I already received them with all the wood mounts so need to put them together and package.

TAKE NOTE!! You can buy them individually, or a set of them to use to create your projects OR
create a gift basket for friends and family, a hostess gift, thank you(s)... If you are interested in any of them, the cost is $3.25 plus tax, plus shipping by flatrate box. If you're here in Hawaii, I could meet you at the famous Ala Moana or Ward Centers with no shipping costs to you!!

REMEMBER!! Once they are in the craft and Christian stores, the retailers will add their selling price.

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY!

Sticky Notes with a Message

Blessings to All
As part of my business set up for Faith's Imagination, I've just secured the proper registrations and accounts to make sure everything is legal and proper and I've met a Sister at American Savings Bank!  Kelly attends New Hope - Kaneohe, Hawaii and as Manager of the Branch, she patiently took the time and helped me navigate through the procedures so I'm now set!  Thank you Kelly!!

Here is another sample set - this time using sticky notes - for launching the rubber stamps with ideas on how to use them.

Since taking the photos, I've made a number of other color sets but thought these could give you an idea.  Aren't they cute!
My thought is that as these sit on a desk or countertop, it would gently and quietly send a message of our beliefs and perhaps prompt a conversation about Jesus!!
If you would like to know about the other colors, or if you would like to purchase a set with specific colors, using any one of the stamps shown below to use as party favors, church thank yous, etc. please email me at faithsimagination@gmail.com
I would love to hear from you!
In fact, if you post a comment and then email me your address, I'd like to send you one of the above or
you can tell me your favorite color and I'll custom-make one just for you!
thank you for stopping by!

Faith's Imagination Stamps for You!

I'm soooo excited to finally post pictures of my very own line of stamps for you to purchase to create your own gifts, cards and scrapbook pages!!
I've been working really hard on creating the samples to help you with ideas on using them but also been working and re-working the packaging and labeling!!  Thank you to Darcy and artist - Alan, at Service Printers Hawaii, Inc.,  based in Honolulu, who patiently took my basic ideas and turned them into these beautiful inserts for the packaging and helped me create awesome business cards - so professional and eye-catching !  These will give me a great start as I start making the calls to put them in stores and sell them right here on-line !!

This is the front of the package.... isn't it awesome !!  I love it !!
I'm including 2 free tags in each package - the smaller stamps measuring 1-3/8 x 1-3/8 have small tags and the other 3 sizes, 1-1/4 x 1-3/4, 1-1/2 x 2, and 1-1/2 x 2-1/2 will include larger tags.

This is the back of the packaging.  When packaging the stamps, I manually stamp the image because the labeling on the front is, in some instances, smaller than the actual stamp.

These two photos below, are images of the rubber stamps available for you.  I plan take individual pictures of each stamp and add a Paypal buttons but if you would like to order right away, please email me at faithsimagination@gmail.com and we can discuss your needs, mailing address, shipping and payment.

Each stamp costs $3.00 and shipping will be according to the flat rate boxes that they fit in or less and, if you're in Honolulu, we could even work it out so I can meet you somewhere to deliver them for free!

Also, please feel free to contact me with any questions and re-visit my previous posts for ideas!
Please stop by dandeliondesigns.blogspot.com for her great new stamps and ideas.  Jean's sets are super cute and her creations are adorable !!

I would love to hear from you with your thoughts and suggestions at faithsimagination@gmail.com.

Hugs & Blessings

Aloha!
I've created more samples to help with ideas for using my new line of stamps that I plan to post this weekend!!  These sweet boxes are just 2-1/2 inch squares with a peek-a-boo front.  I've used paper doilies and my handmade scrunch flowers, with punched out leaves to create these.  The boxes are hand-cut and folded using a pattern I created using the box from the extra large hershey kiss.  First is a pink box sitting next to that big hershey kiss and I added a quarter in the shot to give you an idea of the size of the box!  In all of these samples I used the stamp "Hugs and Blessings" but you could use several different ones according to your occasion of gift.

Below is a mint green box showing you a view from the top and that a mini-Led candle can be sent perhaps using another stamp like "Let your Light Shine!".

These below are photos of the variety of colors but once again.... the color combinations and embellishments are simply endless!!

This photo is of another box that falls open - one that I posted before - but I wanted to show you the mini Led candle dressed up as a cake.  This same idea can be used in the boxes above and you could use either of two stamps, "Blessings on Your Birthday" or "God bless You on your Birthday"!!
Hope you like these ... I think they're sooo cute!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions!  Please leave a comment or let me know if you'd like more details on any of my projects and I'd be happy to email you!

Pin your Papers

Aloha All!!
If you're like me, my desk holds paperwork for a number of different things:  craft ideas, patterns, articles to read, lists of this or that, mail to follow-up on, and of course, bills.  I've created clothespins to help me easily identify a certain bunches that  I could have easily titled "Read", "Answer" or "Pay" but I thought I'd add uplifting words that I hope you agree help put nicer thoughts in your day.

These clothespins are created using 3 of the rubber stamps I'm packaging to make available for purchase by the end of this week.

I've created these and some of the earlier postings, as samples using the stamps to give you ideas or jumping off points to help you create your own little gifts and favors for family, friends, church members, teachers, etc.

I used coordinating paper that I purchase everywhere I find them.  I just glue on little bows, pearls, bling, and embellishments for a cute finishing touch.
This picture of the pink set doesn't really show how sweet this is.  I used paper that has pinks and grays.... a beautiful, soft combination.

Here's a purple/lavendar set and a blue and black set for the men in our lives.

The combinations of colors, prints and embellishments are endless!!  I hope you give this a try.

Thank you for visiting!!

Side-Step Faith

Aloha All !
I've been working every spare minute on creating an inventory, labels, packaging, etc. to make my creations available to you.  This is just one set of the 'side-step cards' I've just finished that will be used as samples.
With the exception of the mushrooms (stamped image from Dandelion Designs and colored), I created every embellishment.  Each blossom is handmade and each saying is from a line of rubber stamps I just created and am working on labels and packaging - available soon!!

Above is the purple set.
Below is the yellow and green set.
Aren't those mushrooms sooo cute!  My daughter loves them!
I stamped them on white cardstock, colored them in with Marvy and Prisma pens, then cut them out individually.

Below is a side view of these side-step cards.

Below is the black and white set.
I've used a different, more oriental looking blossom that I created entirely on my own.  The stamens in the middle of the flower is created with a McGill Paper Blossoms punch.

Below is a close-up view so you can really see the sayings and details.

This photo is a side view of the easel card that I posted the last time.  I thought you might like to see this view and know that you can flatten the card to send.  When the receivor gets it they prop it up using the embellishment at the foot of the card!  I'm realizing now that I should also have taken a photo of the flattened card.  I will do that and include it next time.   Thank you for stopping by!
I would love to hear from you!
Blessings to you and yours!

Spinning PinWheels!

Aloha All!  Last weekend I figured out how to create actual spinning pinwheels.  The other week my post showed pinwheels for an office potluck that were purely ornamental.  It took me 4 - 4-1/2 hours to research and try different ways but I got it!!  These are on straws to start.  This first photo is of an assortment of green ones.

This is a close up of a green one.

and a close up of a pink one

an assortment of pinks

To give more length to the stems, I inserted a longer bar-b-q stick into the straw and used florist tape to cover up the straw and stick.

Finally, I added streamers!!

If anyone is interested in ordering

Walking in Waikiki

Aloha All -
We've been having a bout of strange weather here so I haven't been able to go for my regular walks for exercise and somehow it's affected my feelings to create so I thought I'd share some pictures of Waikiki as I walked along only a week ago. I am so super lucky to live in Hawaii and so blessed to be able to walk at the foot of Diamond Head!!  Diamond Head in my backyard!!!

This day the tide was really high and crashing against the stonewall.  I LOVE breathng in the beachy salt air - So good for the soul!!

I walk right in front of the famous Natatorium.  It's closed to the public now but my dad used to swim here when he was little.
Below is a shot from across the street of the famous International Market Place along Kalakaua Avenue

Another iconic place along Kalakaua Avenue.

Below  ..... isn't this gorgeous!  I was able to capture a surfer as he walked along the shore in front of a condo that sits right on the beach!

Spring Party Pinwheels

Hi all!
Been super busy with taking care of parents, my own health, the IRS in between work!!  We had a Spring Fling at the office this past Monday and I always want to turn our conference room into something special for the occasion.  With Spring in mind, I created balloon flowers and pinwheels.

This is a view from one end of the tables.  I had three sets of balloon flowers in between sets of pinwheels, all in spring colors.

This is a close-up of one set of four in between the flower balloons.  I used one large pinwheel (6" square) and four smaller pinwheels (5" and 4") and varied the spacing and heights.  To fill in the lower area of the styro foam that I used to anchor everything, I purchased those cute green pompoms balls at Walmart.  They came on a sprig so I cut them apart to use as filler and of course, chocolate filled plastic eggs that my co-worker, Jannie, helped to fill and decorate.  The rosettes in the center of the pinwheels are made from Tim Holtz rosette die and I just punched a 1" circle of cardstock to add the finishing touch!

Another set of the pinwheels showing the variety of color and printed paper.  You can see that in some instances the rosettes are monochromatic and in some, I used contrasting, yet matching colors for the rosettes and their centers.
This is another set with picture taken stepping back a little to get a sense of the individual set.  You can see the conference room chairs in the background.  I used wire-edged green ribbon to cover the raw edges of the styro foam and it just happened to match the pompoms and grass!  I love it when things come together that way!!  It was meant to be!!
The picture below is right outside the conference room where our buffett table is set up.  Took a quick shot from an angle to show you the 14 other single pinwheels (6") lined up along the bulletin board.  You can also see a little more of the balloon flowers I added to the ends of the table.
Everyone loved the decorations .... within minutes after the party was over the pinwheels and flowers were gone to everyone who wanted one.  It is always so delightful to me when everyone enjoys what I create.
Thank you for stopping by..... Happy Spring!!

Faith with Hugs and Blessings

Aloha All!
Sharing a prototype of an easel card as a favor or little gift that incorporates "Faith" as an acronym.  I'm working on samples for an inventory and this is just the idea trying to come to fruition..... what do you think?  The combination of colors and embellishments are virtually endless and limitless!!

Below is a side view so you can see the "easel" affect.  There are so many beautiful samples out there.  I got the dimensions from ... I believe it was Splitcoasters resource list of tutorials.

Thank you for stopping by!

quiet joys to you and yours
